 Vantastival Music FestivalDunany (Drogheda) Co Louth Friday 30 April – Sunday 2 May 2010 May Bank Holiday Weekend Vantastival festival, a new music festival in Co. Louth over the May bank holiday weekend which is open to everyone but specifically caters for campervan and scooter enthusiasts, owners and admirers. It is athree-day festival with three stages of live music - confirmed acts so far are Kila, Jack L, FRED, Mick Flannery, Dublin City Ramblers, Jinx Lennon, six of the nominated acts for the Meteor Music Awards and many more. The festival is family friendly, with entertainment for children and creche facilities for several hours a day. There will be a tradearea, food stalls and activities focusing on the maintenance and upkeep of campers and scooters. They do a very good value club rate of €60 per person for the whole weekend (general ticket is €85) but for anyone wishing to attend the Oxmountain Honda 50 Run on the same weekend, they would charge only the day price of €40 from Friday at 6pm through till Sunday morning. LOCATION: Dunany Estate, Dunany, Togher, Drogheda, Co. Louth Directions:Follow the M1 from Dublin or Belfast and take exit 15 to Castlebellingham. Continue on the R166 to Annagassan.
